T-10 Series

Illuminance Meter T-10 for standard illuminance measurements and T-10M for small-surface illuminance measurements
Used for measurements of a wide range of illuminance.(0.01 to 299,900 lx, 0.001 to 29,990 fcd)

Features (T-10)

Product Overview

  • Relative spectral response
For the measurement of illuminance, ideally the relative spectral response of the meter should perfectly match the sensitivity of the human eye for photopic vision, as represented by the CIE spectral luminous efficiency V(λ).
  • Cosine correction characteristics
Since the brightness of the measurement plane is proportional to the cosine of the angle at which the light is incident, the response of the receptor must also be proportional to the cosine of the incidence angle.

Principal Applications

  • Official government testing
  • R&D by illumination manufacturers
  • Repair and maintenance in factories, offices, and hospitals
  • Quality control by manufacturers of home-use lighting products
  • Examination of commercial light sources
  • Illuminance control in agriculture and forestry

Main Features

  • Multiple functions and convenient operation
The multi-function T-10 also features a key cover to prevent accidental operation.
  • PC linking and continuous storage using a recorder
Digital output: An RS-232C terminal supports direct connection to a PC.
Analog output: When connected to a recorder, illuminance values can be stored in a continuous fashion.
  • Automatic zero adjustment for immediate measurement
As soon as the power is turned on, the T-10 automatically carries out zero adjustment, (even when a cap has not been fitted), thus allowing measurement operations to be started almost immediately.
  • Auto-range functions for a wide measurement range
Manual setting of ranges is also possible.
  • LCD backlight is automatically controlled for low illuminance and hold.
  • Powered by standard AA-size batteries.
  • Flickering light sources can also be measured.

Features (T-10M)

Features

Miniature Ø16.5mm receptor head with 1m connecting cable enables measurements in tight places where the normal T-10 cannot fit. Measuring range, accuracy, etc. are the same as the T-10.

Applications

  • Measurement in confined areas
  • Spot measurements where illuminated area is small
