Konica Minolta offers the connectivity to different Google products such as Google Cloud Print, G-Suite and Google Drive. Thanks to the integration of the G-Suite into bizhub Evolution all users created in the G-Suite are automatically transferred to the user administration of bizhub Evolution and therefore do not have to be created again. Hence, the same credentials can be used for convenient Single-Sign-On. The connectivity to Google Drive offers the benefit that if users want to convert, translate, fax or much more, they can store the edited documents directly there. They can also pull-print their Google Drive documents directly at the MFP. In addition to the cloud print service, you have a range of other services available, such as fax, document conversion and translation. These can be deployed easily and any time via the cloud-based platform bizhub Evolution. The administration of users and services can be easily handled by your team whilst we take care about the complete management of the platform and services. All services can be activated and used on-demand - you only pay for what you use.
Konica Minolta also offers connectivity to Universal Print from Microsoft by integrating in bizhub Evolution. Universal Print is a modern print solution that organisations can use to manage their print infrastructure through cloud services from Microsoft. It runs entirely on Microsoft Azure. When deployed with Universal Print–compatible printers, it requires no on-premises infrastructure. It can be deployed with non-compatible printers by using Universal Print connector software. Universal Print is a Microsoft 365 subscription-based service.
The ability of cloud-based services to deliver flexibility, on-demand scalability and reliability while controlling direct costs and administrative overheads has come into its own during the COVID-19 pandemic. IT teams have scrambled to support the shift to remote-working as businesses have battled to maintain employee productivity; cloud-based software and services have often played a central role in the tactical response to the crisis.
